My name is Connor Maullin and I am a third-year student at the University of Canberra. I am studying for a Bachelor of Communication and Media (Corporate and Public Communication). My interests are TV, sports, and video games. I also love hiking and riding my bike.  My goal at this moment is to do well in university and learn as much as I can about the subject of communications to fully prepare for my future of employment. I also want to travel some more as I didn’t do it as much as I had hoped and to experience as many different cultures as I can.

My written and verbal communication skills are aspects that I feel are very important and valuable in the communication workplace. I love writing and I feel I can communicate through writing very well.  For a career in the communication field, the writing skill with an emphasis on influencing and argumentative writing is a direct skill that is suited to the career. A communication strategist must understand communication objectives, know their target audience, and know-how to deliver the message too
